  • To sell Insurance products and services by telephone, including new sales, cross-selling, upgrades and policy retention to generate revenue. 
  • Provide exceptional customer service to customer as an advisor on the use of insurance product to fulfill customer needs. 
  • Observe established corporate policies, procedures and guidelines throughout the sales and communication to best our customers.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

 

1.   Education

-          Minimum GCE ‘O’ level with 3 years of relevant experience.

-          Must be CGI certified (now known as BCP and PGI).

-          Certificate in Health Insurance is required depending on the product to be marketed.

-          Comfortable and effective in verbal communications in native language and in English.

-          Experience in working in a computerized environment will be an advantage.

-          Pleasant telephone voice.

 

2.       Knowledge, skills and abilities

Business/Technical Skills

-          Demonstrate sales ability and professional/technical knowledge of sales process and products.  Experience and knowledge in general insurance will be an advantage.

 

Interaction Skills

-          Effective oral communication skills to clearly express ideas on the telephone.

-          Employ consultative skills and techniques in objection handling; explore alternatives to reach outcomes that gain customer acceptance.

-          Excellent customer service skills to identify and recognize customer and staff needs and meet those needs.  Exceeding customer satisfaction is expected in all customer and staff interactions.

-          Effectively exploring alternatives and positions to reach outcomes (both internal and external); anticipating customer needs; giving high priority to customer satisfaction.

 

Personal Management Skills

-          Ability to plan and organize effective presentation in a call, demonstrate effective listening skill, energy, good judgment and tolerance for stress as well as effective time management.

-          Set high goals and standards in performance; self-imposing standards of excellence rather than having standards imposed by others.

-          Accuracy is vital in all communication and process.

 

COMPETENCIES/SKILLS

-          Excellent telemarketing and problem solving skills.

-          Good customer services skill.

-          Fluent in oral communication skill.

A Five days work, with attractive salary Package ranging from $1,500 - $1,800 as basic salary, and with commission and bonus.
