International Customer Service Representative (ICSR)

The ICSR will need to ensure that all requests are handled/resolved in a timely manner, by taking complete ownership of the issues, resolving it independently, working with their business partners, or escalating to their manager. The ICSR will need to have a good understanding of banking products and processes to ensure effective customer interactions.

Responsibilities

 Confirm product(s) to be opened with Customer/Relationship Manager and explain the account opening process.
 Provide and assist the customer in completing the appropriate forms and enter them into the portal
 Liaise with local and host country Relationship Managers as appropriate
 Review and process applications from other hubs, ensuring applications are complete.
 Keep customer updated with progress of their application and advises customer of acceptance or decline of application when notified by the relevant underwriters
 Ensure customer issues are resolved in a timely/accurate manner that exceeds customer expectations
 Ensure a high level of accuracy in the handling of all documentation
 Follow strict compliance and adherence to all required regulatory requirements – for both local and host hubs

Requirements

 Sense of ownership and the ability to work through issues to ensure customer satisfaction is a priority
 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with good command of written and spoken English and at least one other spoken language (Mandarin, Cantonese, Bahasa, Korean, or Japanese).
 Previous customer service experience essential
 Previous branch support/account opening experience desirable
 Mature, well organised and detail oriented.
 Candidate should be prepared to work shift hours, weekends and public holidays as required.
 Candidates with GCE A levels or Polytechnic Diploma Holders with at least 2 – 3 years experience in a service related field.
