Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to strategize, manage and control performance of Quality Assurance Department in according to company's objectives.
  • Strategize initiatives, timely monitor and review strategies to achieve the key performance indicators set for the Department.
  • Uphold the Quality Management System (ISO9001, TS16949) & ISO14001 Environmental Management System in refining system infrastructure to accomodate customer's requirements and corporate requirements.
  • Develop supplier's awareness of customer's requirement through periodic management meeting and continuous improvement activities to sensure full compliance and to eliminate impact to the Company's process.
  • Timely review and visit customers to align customer's requirement with company's improvement activities.
  • Oversee the support for customer's quality and improvement activities for customers from South East Asia (includes China), U.S and Europe.
  • Manage the Customer Complaints Management process by working closely with Production Department in investigates and provide advice to resolve product quality issues.
  • Laboratory Management - maintain overall efficiency in laboratory through lean activities such as waste reduction in terms of time, movement etc.
  • Cultivate and promote positive mindset towards kaizen (continuous improvement activities) through workshops, education and TQM campaign; Indentify and trigger continuous improvement projects to reduce deviation in process through FMEA, SPC, DOE and benchmarking.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Chemical/Mechanical/Material Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience in manufacturing environment or semi-conductor Quality Assurance experience, of which at least 3 years in Managerial position.
  • Must be able to work with customers and subcontractors to resolve quality related issues.
  • Good knowledge in ISO quality management.
  • A mature leader with drive, initiatives, resourcefulness and management skills together with a customer-focus attitude.
  • Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills and able to lead, organize and influence others in accomplishing tasks.
