Sales and Marketing Executive/ Manager (Magazine and Advertising Industry)

Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement Magazine from inception to completion
• To develop and execute marketing programs and communication strategies to achieve qualified sales leads
• Conceptualize and develop sales and marketing materials
• Establish and maintain strategic global alliance relationships
• To monitor and collate market information on the industry and competitors
• Work with the management in growing the business and identifying business new opportunities/growth opportunities
• Identify potential advertisers and secure advertisement sales
• Develop and implement marketing strategies and activities to achieve maximum exposure and revenue growth
• Establishing excellent customer relationship and generate sales leads
• Generate new and creative marketing offerings
• Keep accurate records of all advertising business and update client contacts on an ongoing basis
• Visit clients regularly and produce timely and articulate written proposals following client meetings
• Provide reports for management as required, to include strategy reports and information on the competition

Requirements:
• Meticulous and an eye for detail
• Good coordination skills with clients, graphic designers, editors and production
• Corporate communication skills
• Presentable, outgoing and articulate and exhibit strong sense of business acumen
• Team player, assertive yet with sense of humor
• Proven track record in achieving sales targets
• Knowledge of local advertising agencies, brands and companies an advantage
• Client contact database preferable (Arts & Culture Statutory Boards and SME/MNC)
• Excellent visual/design skills and conceptual ability
• Ability to multi task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Resourceful, independent, able to work under pressure and meet tight datelines
• Highly-skilled in Microsoft Office applications inclusive of Microsoft Publisher
• Preferably, basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and AutoCAD
• Experience in sales and marketing, preferably in publication industry
• Committed and willing to work long hours if needed
• Qualifications needed but not essential, related work experience benefits more
