Responsibilities:

• Procure critical materials and components for the network of processors in a timely and cost effective manner.
• Monitor key commodity prices and effect purchase plans to maximize the leverage for cost effectiveness.
• Coordinate allocation and optimize purchasing of materials by leveraging volumes or propose better modes of purchases.
• Identify cost saving opportunities and implement plans for cost reduction and lowering inventory levels.
• Work closely with across functional teams to delivery procurement needs, objectives and support required to run the operations efficiently
• Work with suppliers and processors on shipment plans and adherence so as to minimize impact to operations.
• Resolve shipment discrepancies, replacements and returns in a timely manner.
• Measure suppliers on delivery performance versus contractual obligations in quality, delivery, price, user satisfaction and rapport for continuous improvement.
• Prepare and consolidate reports and data for regular and ad-hoc reporting purposes.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor\'s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Engineering with specialized training in Procurement/Purchasing Management or equivalent.
• Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent.
• At least 8 year(s) of working experience in the medical products or pharmaceutical industries is required for this position.
• Good negotiation skills.
• A self-motivated and energetic team player with business acumen and good analytical skills and have the ability to work independently in a challenging environment.
• Good knowledge of SAP or other ERP.
• Conversant in written and spoken Mandarin.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Town.
