Design Elements such as line,shape,negative space,volume,value,colour,texture;and principles such as unity/harmony,repetition,rhythm,variety,focal point,visual hierarchy,balance,will be covered in the first two sections of this module to provide participants with a good understanding prior to solving design problems.Through learning the elements,which refer to "what" are used in a design,and the principles,which define "how" these elements are used,participants will be equipped with good fundamentals to understand and apply these principles to solve design problems.
