Responsibilities:
* To ensure that various transactions and movement of parts such as semin-finished goods are promptly carried out to ensure that Production plans can be completed on-time. Prope housekeeping must be maintained in the Components Storeroom to improve accuracy in inventory count and to easy retrieval of parts.
* Responsible for ensuring parts are promptly moved between departments to departments and these movements must be accurately transacted in the computer system .
* Checks must be made in the computer system to verify which Work order is scheduled for release. Issuance of raw materials into shop floor will be prompted by the “Work Order to Start” report and the Store Asst must issue these materials out for the work orders concerned.
* All semin-finished goods and raw materials must be promptly labeled and verified before storage. Parts that are moved and stored in Storeroom must be accurately recorded & traced by location. In addition, inspected parts from Suzhou will have to be verified in MRP, to see if these parts must be issued to Coating.
Requirements:
*GCE ‘O’Levels, preferably possess a trade certificate in Precision Optics.
* 1-2 years of experience in similar field in a manufacturing environment. 1-2 years of experience in production / project scheduling preferred
* Working knowledge in Excel spreadsheet and MS Words.
Knowledge in manufacturing MRP systems is a plus.

Salary : S$1500 - $1600 (basic)
Working Hours : Mon to Fri - 8.30 am to 5.30 pm
Sat - 9 am to 1 pm (Alternate Sat)
