WEB ENGINEER

Job Duties
The job-holder is responsible for developing, enhancing and supporting web-based applications, and providing assistance in answering technical presales questions.

1. Develop and maintain web-based application programs;
2. Design, build, test and deploy new web-based applications;
3. Update and modify websites;
4. Develop proof-of-concepts and demo for presales prospects;
5. Coordinate with engineering team to resolve technical issues;
6. Assist in answering technical pre-sales question;
6. Perform other related tasks as assigned.


Job Requirements
1. Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, ITE/Higher Nitec in Information Technology or its equivalent
2. Knowledge in web-based programming : PHP, JAVA & HTML
3. Knowledge in relational databases and proficient in using SQL
4. Experience working on Linux/Unix-based machines
5. Effective interpersonal & communication skills
6. Able to work independently with min supervision
7. This is a full-time contract position with work-life benefits
