 Position: Technical Project Manager

 Scope: Technical project management for the planning and implementation of infrastructure projects for data centre facilities of Client throughout the AP&A Region

Duties:

• Responsibility for development and execution of related planning and implementation processes for the region

• Responsibility for planning and implementation of new/upgraded application systems and any other ITI related projects in the regions within financial and schedule agreements

• Team lead position who will be heading a team of people both Middleware and DBA

• Responsibility for co-ordination of project team activities to ensure efficient and successful systems integrations, ongoing hosting services within agreed SDC/customer service level agreements

• Ensure Client's IT implementation and application standards, processes and services are upheld.

• Assist in developing standards for implementing new application processes and solutions into the AP&A region

• Maintain an active working relationship with the ADS-AP, internal and external development organizations in definition of application hosting and processing requirements

• Maintain an interactive working relationship with the Corporate Data Centre group, SR & M technical architect, application development and customer organizations to ensure successful application / hosting launches.

• Actively participate within AP&A ARB (Architectural Review Board), Technical Architecture Reviews, when required, to support ADS-AP, FAP-IT and customer teams throughout project lifecycle.

• Co-ordinate with SR & M technical architect in the evaluation, development and implementation of cohesive integration / implementation of multiple, complex computer systems

• Co-ordinate with the Hosting Manager for the cohesive implementation and integration /implementation of complex computer systems, associated processes and infrastructure tools into the specified Data Centre environment

• Lead in the development of application related Disaster Recovery Plans for regional data centers as required

 Skills Required:

• Knowledge of Client global architecture standards, integration standards and requirements between the North American and European Data Centers and Engineering operations.

• Candidate will need to have sufficient experience in EITHER Middleware or DBA and ITIL

• Good oral and written communication skills, with all levels within the organization, with partners and vendors, across multiple markets.

• Good report writing.  Experience with multiple technologies / skill set. 

• Organisation skills required to ensure compliance with corporate standards.

• A Continuous Improvement mindset with an ability to refine processes to make them more efficient and effective, making more effective use of resources.

• A desire to undertake continuing education, for external professional qualifications and internal Client training.

• Strong project management skills, including stakeholder management and the ability to schedule and lead project reviews and associated activities within agreed project schedules.

• Strong research initiative, a self-starter at locating relevant documentation, support and process assistance both within Client and external to Client.
